Frozen Shoulder
Frozen Shoulder (Adhesive Capsulitis) is a progressive shoulder injury where one loses a significant amount of range of motion as the injury progresses through its’ three stages: (1) Freezing – painful progressive stage of reduced movement, (2) Frozen – very stiff and immobile but little or no pain and (3) Thawing – movement starts to come back but can be painful. This condition usually results after a previous shoulder injury or too much immobility and can last upwards of one-year. However, effective and targeted treatment and rehabilitation can significantly speed up the timeline to full recovery.
